Birmingham V Watford Match Preview.

Watford head to St Andrews tommorow to play Birmingham City. Birmingham currently lie in 16th place in the table and Lee Clarks side have been struggling with financial issues of late forcing them to sell star goalkeeper Jack Butland to Stoke for just £4 million pounds. However, Butland was loaned back to the side for the rest of the season. In the match earlier this season which was televised on Sky Sports, Watford ran out 2-0 winners thanks to goals from Almen Abdi and Matej Vydra. Their is a familiar face in Clarks sqaud which is that of Marlon King. The striker spent 3 seasons at Watford scoring 48 goals in 102 appearences for the club. He is their main danger man but Birmingham will be without him for the game due to a Knock. Depending on results, Watford could climb up to 2nd in the table.

For Birmingham, Marlon King is out with a knock whilst Nigola Zigic will not feature at all after being dropped from the match 18 due to poor performances in training. Wes Thomas, Natahan Redmond and Hayden Mullins are pushing for starts.

For Watford, the hornets are without defenders Joel Ekstrand and Tommie Hoban due to knee and ankle injuries. Nyron Nosworthy looks set to take his place in the defence. Ikechi Anya, Neuton and Connor Smith are all out.
