Nottingham Forest V Watford Match Preview.
Watford head to the City Ground tonight to play Nottingham Forest in the Sky Bet Championship in a match which will be televised on Sky Sports. Forest lie in 5th place whilst the Hornets lie in 16th. A win for the Hornets would see them move up three places to 13th and a win in all three of their games in hand would see them move up to 7th only four points from the play offs. During the meeting between these two sides earlier this season at Vicarage Road, the match finished 1-1 with Lewis McGugan scoring a fabulous free kick against his former club to grab a point after Andy Reids earlier opener. Either team could have won it that day with McGuan, Sean Murray, Ikechi Anya and Fernando Forestieri all being denied by Karl Darlow whilst Ishmael Miller hit the post in the dieing minutes. Forest are managed by Billy Davies who returned after the midway point of last season for his second spell in charge. Davies guided them to 7th place in the table and they were agonizingly close to the play offs with Leicester pipping them to the post. Their key player tonight will be captain Andy Reid who has proven himself to be one of the Championships most dangerous midfielders. The Irishman has been instruental in the Clubs play off push this season and is also the clubs top scorer with nine. After a good performance at the weekend, hopefully the Hornets can push on tonight and grab that all illusive win which will hopefully start off a good second half of the season.
