Pawson to referee Southampton fixture.
The referee for Wednesday's fixture against Southampton in the Premier League has been announced.
The match, which will take place at St Mary's Stadium, will be refereed by Craig Pawson from South Yorkshire.
Pawson has officiated 47 games in the top-flight since joining the Select Group list of referee's, who take charge of Premier League matches, back in 2013.
You have to look back to the 2012/13 season to view the last time Pawson took charge of a match involving the Golden Boys.
During that season, he was the man in the middle for two Watford matches, the latest of which being the Golden Boys 2-1 win over Leicester in April 2013. That match would ultimately be remembered for Nathaniel Chalobah's wonder strike, which increased Gianfranco Zola's men's advantage over the foxes.
Pawson has refereed 21 matches in all competitions this season, 15 of those coming in the Premier League, and he has handed out 67 yellow cards and one red.
