QPR V Watford Match Preview.

21/04/2014 10:58

Watford head to Loftus Road today to play QPR in what should be a fiercly competitive contest in the Sky Bet Championship. The Hornets will be looking to build on their impressive 3-1 win over Ipswich on Saturday as the Hornets were impressive in the second half. QPR currently lie in 4th position and will achieve a play off place today if they avoid defeat against the Hornets. Watford currently lie in 12th position and are 5 points off the play offs and a win today could move the Hornets up to 9th position depending on results. During the match earlier this season at Vicarage Road, the match ended in a 0-0 draw with Diego Fabbrini having the best chance of the match for the Hornets. QPR are managed by former Tottenham Hotspur manager Harry Redknapp and the pre season favourtites have now got to accept a place in the play off positions. After a good start to the season, QPR have struggled without Charlie Austin up front and have had to rely on loanee Ravel Morrison to score the goals to win matches. The man to watch today for the Hornets will be West Ham loanee Morrison who has been in excellent form for the R's scoring 6 goal since joining. With QPR wanting to get back to winning ways and Watford seeking to climb the table, it should be an exciting game at Loftus Road today.
