Referee for Swansea match confirmed.
The referee for this weekend's Barclays Premier League game against Swansea, at Vicarage Road, has been confirmed today (Monday 7th September 2015).
Robert Madley from West Yorkshire will be the man-in-the-middle for Saturday's match and he is a relatively new official on the Select Group list, after being promoted in 2013.
The West Yorkshire referee has officiated 19 Premier League games since he joined the Select Group list, following on from four years as a referee in The Football League.
Madley refereed the Hornets once last season, which came in the Golden Boys 3-1 victory over Millwall in November 2014, in what was a special match-day at Vicarage Road, which commemorated those who lost their lives during World War One.
The West Yorkshire official has took charge of three games this season, two of which in the Premier League, and has handed out 12 yellow cards.
Last season, Madley officiated 30 games in all competitions, handing out 94 yellow cards and five red.
