Referee for West Ham match confirmed
The referee for Watford's away fixture against West Ham this weekend has been announced by the Premier League.
The match, which will take place at London's former Olympic Stadium, will be refereed by Martin Atkinson from West Yorkshire.
Atkinson is an experienced top-flight referee, having officiated matches in the Premier League since 2005. He was also one of two English officials who refereed at Euro 2016 in France earlier this summer.
The West Yorkshire referee took charge of the Hornets twice last season, resulting in one win and one defeat for the Golden Boys. Atkinson was the man-in-the-middle for Watford's 2-0 victory over Stoke City last October, while he also took charge of the Hornets' 2-1 defeat to Manchester City in January.
The 45-year-old has refereed two matches this season and has handed out just two yellow cards.
