The referee for the Hornets' FA Cup fixture against Nottingham Forest and next Tuesday's Premier League match against Chelsea, have been announced.

For Saturday's FA Cup fourth round fixture against Nottingham Forest at the City Ground, Neil Swarbrick from Lancashire will be the man-in-the-middle and this will be the first time he has refereed the Hornets this season.

Swarbrick refereed the Hornets once last season, which came in the Golden Boys' 4-2 win over Huddersfield in August 2014, which proved to be Beppe Sannino's last game as Watford manager. On that day, Swarbrick sent off Gabriel Tamas for two bookable offences.

The Premier League referee has been on the Select Group list of officials who officiate in the top flight since 2011 and in that time, he has taken charge of nearly 80 Premier League matches.

This season, the Lancashire official has refereed 20 matches, eight of which coming in the Premier League, and he has handed out 63 yellow cards and 4 red.

For Tuesday's fixture against Chelsea at Vicarage Road, Mike Dean from the Wirral will be the man-in-the middle and this will be his second Watford match of the season.

Previously this season, he took charge of the Golden Boys' 2-0 win over Norwich in December.

Dean is an experienced top flight official, having taken charge of over 300 Premier League matches since being promoted to the select group list of referees, who take charge of games in the Premier League, in 2000

This season, Dean has refereed 22 matches in all competitions and he has handed out 74 yellow cards and 7 red.
