Referees for Reading and Wigan games announced.
The referees for this weekends match against Reading at Vicarage Road, as well as next Tuesday’s trip to Wigan have been announced by The Football League.
For this weekends Sky Bet Championship Match against Reading at Vicarage Road, the referee will be Darren Bond from Lancashire.
Bond has refereed the Hornets once this season, which came in the Golden Boys 5-0 win over Charlton in January. This will be only the third time that Bond has took charge of a match involving the Hornets.
He has refereed 31 matches this season, 9 of which in the Championship, handing out 85 yellow cards and 5 red.
For next Tuesdays game against Wigan Athletic at the DW Stadium, the referee will be David Coote from West Yorkshire.
He last refereed the Hornets back on the final day of the 2013/14 season, when he took charge of Watford’s 1-4 home defeat to Huddersfield. He awarded a penalty to the Golden Boys that day in the final minutes. This will be the third time that Coote has refereed the Hornets.
Coote has refereed 20 games this season, 6 of which in the Championship, handing out 80 yellow cards and 3 red.
