Scott referee for Brighton clash

26/08/2017 11:56

Graham Scott will be the referee for today's match against Brighton and Hove Albion at Vicarage Road.

This will be the Oxfordshire based official's first Premier League game of the season, having taken charge of eight top flight matches last season.

One of those matches was Watford's 3-1 defeat away to West Bromwich Albion in early December, where he sent off the Hornets' Roberto Pereyra for reacting angrily to a challenge from James McClean.

Scott took charge of 28 matches in all competitions last season, handing out 93 yellow cards and 5 red. His only game so far this campaign has been Nottingham Forest's 2-1 win over Middlesbrough last weekend in the Championship.
