Watford V Huddersfield Match Preview.

18/01/2013 17:03

Watford entertain 18th place Hudersfield tommorow at Vicarage Road. Although, the match looks likely to be called off due to the snow conditions and their is a meeting between the two teams and officials and a pitch inspection by the officials at 9:00 am to decide if the match is safe enough to go ahead. I have been told that the pitch is not neccecarily the problem as their is undersoil heating which could help to get the snow off. Also if the match does go ahead, the hornets official twitter account has asked if fans could come down early and help clear the pitch and surrounding area to make the experience safe for all fans. In the match between the sides in September, Watford came out 3-2 winners thanks to a late Troy Deeney penalty. In a match which was end to end, Fernando Forestieri, Fitz Hall and Troy Deeney scored for the Hornets with Oliver Norwood and Alan Lee scoring for Huddersfield.

Team News

The Hornets are without Jonathan Hogg and Fitz Hall due to a hamstring injury as well as Tommie Hoban and Connor Smtih who have an achilles and Knee problems.

Joel Lynch is out for Huddersfield whilst Danny Ward could return.
