Watford V Yeovil Match Preview.

29/11/2013 14:55

Watford play Yeovil town tomorrow at Vicarage Road in the Sky Bet Championship with the Hornets looking to get back to winning ways after a poor run of form of late. The Hornets last victory came against Huddersfield last month and Watford have been on a poor run of form with 2 draws and 3 losses in the past 5 games. The Hornets currently lie lie in 10th position and a win could see them move back up to 6th place depending on other results. Yeovil currently lie in bottom place and are 6 points from safety having only won 2 of their first 16 games in the division. This will be the first time the Hornets have played Yeovil Town in the league. Yeovil won the League One Play Off Final last year with a fine 2-1 victory over Brentford at Wembley thanks to goals from Paddy Madden and Dan Burn scoring for the Glovers as they secured their first ever season in the Championship. Yeovil's manager is Gary Johnson who is a former Watford manager and coach. He returned for his second spell in charge of Yeovil in January 2012 and masterminded their promotion last year. Paddy Madden was Yeovil's top scorer last season and fired them to promotion scoring 22 goals. Subsequently, this season, Madden has found it difficult to find goals and was transfer listed this week by manager Gary Johnson due to his poor attitude.
